Located in Lawrenceville, Piccolo Forno is a really cool spot to get your Italian food fix near Pittsburgh! This BYOB establishment is VERY popular which means no reservations, and long wait times. But do not let that fact turn you away from venturing out to Butler Street. Not only are there shops and cafes to stop in while you wait to be seated, but there is also Grapperia! This (also small) genuine Italian bar is just around the corner from Piccolo Forno and is the perfect place to wait for your table to be ready. Grapperia is a full service bar that specializes in grappa, an authentic Italian alcoholic beverage. If you've never tried grappa before, they have many options and flights available for you to sample. They also have small snack options to hold you over before dinner.

Once you get called for your table at Piccolo, you can pop open your bottle of choice for an un-corking fee of only $5, and enjoy wood fired pizza, or one of their many pasta dishes like their famous lasagna! Check out Piccolo Forno and Grapperia and Let me know what you think!
